Woooo yeaaahhh!!!

This bass and drum duo is freaking crazy! Hailing from Canada, with Jesse F Keeler on Bass and Sebastien Grainger on Drum/Vocal, they produced some fuzzy, loud, heavy sound of tricky basslines, not to mention the powerful drumming. Although they've split-up (because of something that related to gayloveness) but that doesn't make them lousy either. They make stunning music throughout their career, started with their Heads Up! EP, Romantic Rights EP, Romance Bloody Romance Remixes & B-Sides, and finally their first full album, and sadly the last so far, is You're A Woman I'm A Machine.

If you're likely to get bored by the likes of Raptures, LCD Soundsystem, or even !!!, then you'll going to dig this. The Heads Up! EP is my personal favorite, because it contains lot of sounds, effects, noises, and more noise. My favorite track is Dead Wombs, If We'll Don't Make It We'll Fake It, and Turn It Out from their full album.

mau nulis ah apa yang menarik kemarin-kemarin

1. Kemarin2 adalah saat-saat dimana saya sedang mendengarkan shoegaze jadul ala Creation Records dengan gembira, kalau nggak di sms suruh gawe, bikin tugas, dan diajak main.

2. Kemarin ada pasar seni, 3 gerbang masuk, satu gerbang rata-rata dimasuki 65 ribu orang. Kios souvenir saat jam 11 masih sangat penuh orang, ketika jam 1 kios sudah sepi.

3. Kemarin saat pasar seni, wahana saya dimasuki 468 orang saat 2 jam setelah dibuka. Wajar, karena semua wahana yang ada tidak ada yang sepi. Yang ramai biasa aja nggak ada. adanya kalau nggak 'ramai', ya 'babi, rame gila tuh wahana'.

4. Kemarin-kemarin saya senang punya sepeda baru, film dan musik baru hasil donlotan, kaos baru, sayang kalo soal yang itu masi same old same old. Rempong haha!

5. Kemarin-kemarin saya melihat/mengetahui peristiwa tidak mengenakkan: Ibu-ibu yang tertabrak tronton sehingga badannya terbelah dua dan isi perutnya terburai, bapak-bapak yang tiba-tiba stroke di kampus, peristiwa Ampera yang Gore-nya menyaingi film-film Troma dan Robert Rodriguez.

6. Kemarin semua panitia pasar seni 2010, termasuk eksternal-eksternalnya bekerja dengan baik, acaranya sukses, capeknya tetep nggak terbayar tapi. Yang penting acaranya sukses yeah!

dan besok, saya masih libur! berarti saya masih bisa mengagumi kemarin dan menjalani kehidupan dengan lancar. Kemarin, kamu memang sudah terlewat, tetapi kemarin yang ini mungkin akan menjadi kenangan yang akan saya bawa sampai mati. Terimakasih kemarin!
