let's talk about this norwegian newgazers!

Serena Maneesh

Yes, they're simply great, or shall I say, very-fucking-amazing. Yes, Serena Maneesh, the 'norwegian newgazers' is the coolest thing in my itunes right now, their banging-gothic-like shoegaze is quite addictive, not to mention their great liveshows. Yes, and I'm officially become a fan.

I mean, this is so not for you who usually listens to a straightforward kind of music, but if you wanna try, go ahead! Their songs, such as 'Reprobate!', 'Honeyjinx', and the ultimate single-chord-mayhem 'Selina's Melodie Fountain' is my favourite songs for now. The ambience, the harsh noise, the transition, I totally dig this kind of music. And someone actually said that their albums are like 'Loveless' in 20th century. Excuse me for being overacting, but this is a fresh kind of music that I've listened quite awhile. It's like Inception for music.

Hilma Nikolaisen

Oh yeah, the bassist, Hilma Nikolaisen, is very edgy, I mean, look at her hair! Suits the band just fine!

rebellion

'People say that your dreams
are the only things that save ya.
Come on baby in our dreams,
we can live on misbehavior'
- Rebellion by Arcade Fire

Got stumbled onto this song because of their amazing live performing this in Miroir Noir trailer on youtube, I can put the video here but it won't show it's original size, so sorry for being such a lame blogger, haha. Miroir Noir is an Arcade Fire documentary, obviously, from their tour. It's being recorded at the era of Neon Bible though, so it's not a new one though, just finally got a chance to download it.

electro/trash boys night out

Beside movies, I'm also on a music docs frenzy. and I've watched this recently.

yes, it's Justice documentary about their 20-day tour in North America. And fuck yeah it was pretty f--king crazy documentary that they have. Pissing in camera, banging JD bottle on someone's head, a monstrous crowd whose ready to party, and a trigger-happy tour manager. I bet you're feeling kinda curious ha? Well, I know this is so..late, but I can't seem to find the links to download, haha!

And oh yeah, their tunes are sick btw in this documentary, way beyond their album. Much more buzz, and that other banging sounds, might as well download the original soundtrack from torrent. Hahaha.

movies!

hello there!

because of recent marriage, my internet speed has gone crazy, through the roof!

so I decided to give my eyes some quality time, watching quality series and movies, and what I recently watched is..

1. The Science Of Sleep

Yes, I'm a late Gondry fan. Quite amazed with what he do in Eternal Sunshine (yeah, same as everybody else), but not as happy as when I watched Be Kind Rewind, but it's still a good movie instead. The storyline is quite simple, but the creative thingy is making me somewhat amazed and motivating, mainly because I studied art, haha. Overall, a must-see movie, if you're bored with box-office movies, like me. Haha, sorry for the late thingy though.

2. One Piece: Strong World

My friends, Yogi and Riar, are somewhat a One Piece geek, both the tv series and the manga. They come to my room and went on to see this movie via live streaming, yeah, what a geek, haha. But nevertheless I kinda enjoyed the movie, because I'm a fan for cool animes such as Evangelion, and Ghibli's. I'm not a geek for One Piece, I just knew it because it's quite a topic between my friends. But the movie is quite cool, nevertheless. I don't know that Usopp can fire phoenix fireballs with his circular-like catapult! Oh yeah, they can write too, just seek their names on the right side of this blog.

3. Beach Boys

You know this series? This is a J-dorama, played in national television at 1997-ish, and it's quite entertaining. Because it's not complicated, it's just a story about beach, the people that lived near the beach, and 2 boys. But wow it's addictive, haha!

Oh yeah, Ryoko Hirosue is looking very cuteeeee! Too bad she's japanese, and it's 1997. Nowadays she's just your average pretty moms. hahaha.

recapping the week

1. Mood

Currently not in the mood for something cheery, I guess. Days have been gloomy, and I'm feeling uncomfortably numb. That's why I listen to Toro Y Moi, you know, to brighten the darkest days, haha. All the moods aside, Toro Y Moi is kind of good, a nice chillwave to waste your time with, unlike that trippy-acid neighbour Neon Indian.

'dear Neon Indian, stop crying and smoking weed, go to Disneyland and smoke weed instead.'

2.College

That totally sucks, yes. But I kinda liked it, it's more like 'a challenge', I got to spend more time doing something anyway.

'College sucks! But I'm cool!'

wah halo!

halo, ya ini saya lagi, blog yang kemarin agak sedikit rusak, dan rusaknya lumayan bikin males ngupdate, jadi saya pindah kesini deh, hehe. enjoy!
